Our new toy!
So my friend Alisa inspired me to "rediscover" craigslist (thanks Alisa!) so thanks to Alisa we now have...
1. a king size bed on the way! (this is wonderful considering we are sleeping on ty's parents old mattress- pretty sure it's like 20 years old and totally sags in the middle, it's bad) can't wait for a great nights sleep and to wake up without my whole body being sore! plus it's a king so no more fighting for space on the bed!
2. for $20 my mom now has an almost new pack and play at her house, so no more lugging ours around! (well we still have to lug one, but WAY better then lugging 2 around!)
and last, but definitely not least...
The twinos have a new toy!!! and we now have any less space in our living room! (i'll post more about this later, but since we've got back from utah, i've been on a declutter kick, slowly working on each room, changing furniture, throwing stuff away, and reorganizing- it's been fun, but lots of work!)
so for now here's the new toy :)

Utah fun!
What a wild and fun week! We all had a great week here's the week from each of our different perspectives...
Micah and Hallie review the week...
We met A LOT of new people! we met great granny and papa thomson, great grandpa moses, uncle crandall and aunt jen, aunt laurie, celcily and kids, kevin, diego, peggy and tim, mary and tracy, lots and lots of funny "moses" 2nd cousins (we loved you all), jenn and joe, tim and kylee, gramma pat and tom, and we know there were some more, but wow mom and dad we can't remember there were so many!
We spent a LONG time in our car seats, but we slept for a lot of it
We were so happy to be out of our carseats when we got to SLC at 3am we decided to have a party- of course we invited mom and dad and it lasted through the rest of the entire night.
Micah reviews his week...
I was so overwhelmed I had a really hard time slowing down to eat
Auntie Peggy helped me roll over for the first time and now i act like i've been doing it all along
I'm still trying real hard to figure out how to get my binky into my mouth all by myself
I had a fun time on dad's shoulders walking around temple square and downtown
Hallie review her week...
Daddy tried to sneak and feed me squash without telling mommy, i didn't really like it yet, and mommy was sad she missed it.
Micah got so much attention when he rolled over that the next day i decided i'd do it too, only mom was changing his diaper and didn't even see me do it! how rude!
I learned how to suck my thumb and brother didn't ha ha ha
We rode in the car a lot and went to some yummy places to eat, but i couldn't have any so i screamed at the people who could.
I soaked every shirt i had with drool cause my gummies hurt, but my teeth still won't come through :(
Tyson reviews his week...
mid-week: "this is what you have to do all day every day?!?"
beginning-of-this-week: "i miss my babies and wife so much!"
I love my fam! I am such a Moses. I had fun being with people of my own kind :) (for those who don't know, ty's bio dad's name is Roy Moses, he passed away when tyson was in high school, he was adopted by his mom's 2nd husband, kevin thomson, and now happily has a wonderful step-dad, robert stoddard)
i had a blast on my bro/sis date at dee's
i saw my brother and his wife for the first time in like 4 years
i played a thousand games of bubble breaker and finally beat my wife, by a lot, i am now the bubble breaker master and she'll never catch me.
i am even funnier then normal after a monster energy drink
i ate some mouth-watering food at cafe rio and a few other places.
Stacey reviews the week...
i am so thankful for all of the help i had this week!!
utah has WAY better scrapbooking stores! my head was spinning after 3 hours at roberts crafts and paper creations, i had to go home cause i couldn't handle anymore :(
i thought ty talked a lot normally, but give him an energy drink and he doesn't stop for 2 hours!!! seriously! i heard more stories and laughed harder then i've laughed in a long time during those couple hours!
i finally understand utah roads! yeah! and 7th E is way faster then 13th E
i WILL beat tyson at bubble breaker, (btw he cheats, restarts the game if it won't be a high score)
i am reminded once again as to where tyson gets his "tysonisms" :)
peggys "treat-filled counter" + my mouth = pants that don't fit!!!
even after 11 years of knowing each other i still have a hard time keeping his family straight, but love all of them!!
i did not take enough pictures!!! please share pics from this week if you took any cause i'm finding mine are not very good and there's not very many :( you can email them to me staceymae81@gmail.com :)

Back to life, back to reality...
So the WHOLE way home yesterday i had to get after tyson because he would randomly sing the line... "back to life, back to reality" (i don't remember if it's an actual song, chant, or if it just came to his creative mind!) BTW, coodos to us, we left SLC at 10:30 their time and made it home by 11:30 our time- so 14 hours including a 2 hour pit stop in boise to visit shawn, both babies did SO well! we had to stop only 3 other times for the babies! yea there was a little crying (mainly because of a dirty diaper), but for 12 hours in the car, i have no complaints!
anyway i don't know about you all, but this is the worse part of vacation!! ty had a psych test at 9 this morning and now is going straight to work, i have laundry to do (not a ton thanks to my hubby and aunt peggy's trusty washer and dryer!), unpacking, cleaning bedding thanks to a weeks worth of cat hair (way to forget to shut our bedroom door!), and let's face it just coming back to reality! we had a wonderful week though and i will post pics and goodies after reality settles in :)

Don't let those cute lil' faces deceive you!
So we went to Spokane this last weekend for drill, and as tyson was checking into the hotel my heart sank when i realized i forgot the suitcase with the babies clothes, some of ty's clothes, and all of my clothes! thankfully i had 1 change of clothes in a diaper bag for the babies (lesson learned after our first "official" blow out the week before- i had never fully understood why i needed to pack extra clothes in the diaper bag until that blow out, which i will spare you all and not share the picture!) anyway, so i had great plans to meet my friend Suzi, from Lourdes and her fam and thought that since the babies were SO wonderful last month when we tried to meet up that we'd shoot for the Northtown mall (they have a great nursing room which worked great last month!) that way i could get new clothes for myself and the babies- no such luck :( after a lunch with Suzi and her adorable family i had to go feed babies, who decided they wanted to make things difficult, Hallie seriously screamed and was inconsolable for like 20 minutes, i still to this day have no idea what was wrong with her- nothing worked, i'm sure people we're standing outside wondering what on earth i was doing to the poor thing, but some how we made it through and i was able to spend a few more minutes with Suzi before she had to leave to feed her own baby! so needless to say, i left the mall after a very quick stop at the downeast basic kiosk for a shirt for me and no other clothes for me or the babies. oh and to top it off hallie had a "minor" blow out on the one outfit i had for her, so i cleaned it up the best i could and headed back to the base to pick ty up.
I was finally able to make it out to walmart to buy the rest of our needed clothing by 5 in the evening, with just enough time to enjoy the tail end of tyson attempting to feed to screaming babies (what a trooper!) we discovered (thanks to the wisdom of my mom) that micah is now terrified of strange places, he seriously woke up at least every hour at night for the 2 nights we were there. i feel SO sorry for our neighbors in the hotel, they too must have wondered what on earth we were doing to our poor babies!
Needless to say, it was a weekend of many lessons learned! We have enjoyed a quiet week with 2 super cute babies, that have almost erased the horrific memories of the weekend :) and are looking forward to our week in Utah! we have so many people to see and so many people for the babies to meet! i can't wait to hit all of the scrapbook stores and ty can't wait to have a week off of work and school! it will be a much needed break for us all!

What a good daddy
Tyson is such a good dad, he has been such a huge help lately and is so fun to watch him interact with both of the babies- they smile everytime he comes into the room or comes home from school or work! they really do love him!
