Playing in the sunshine!

We've had a few really nice spring days lately, here's some shots from last Saturday when we went fishing and then played outside.

Micah loves to "hike" to this tree in our backyard.  He'll stand and watch the cars go by forever!  They both insisted on getting their pictures taken while by the tree.

Ty wanted proof that he had to do all the work to prepare the fish, so here's his proof...

Micah is now an avid trike peddler and he's stepped up from the Strawberry Shortcake trike to his Red Flyer. :) Just waiting to find some cheap bikes with training wheels and we'll be off!

Huntington Beach

We decided to spend our last day in California at the beach.  It was a relaxing morning before hopping on the plane home.  Micah ran up and down the beach along the tire tracks pretending he was a train for the majority of the time we were there.  It was a great way to wind down after Disneyland!

I'm laid up in bed and am heavily medicated for my back, so I figured now is a great time to actually blog! So please excuse any mispellings, or anything that seems random or doesn't make sense... we'll blame it on the meds. :)

Disney Day 2

The picture overload continues...

The 2nd day we were there, we followed our Ridemax plan and found shorter waits on most of the rides we did.  Totally recommend it.

Disney was not always the happiest place on earth.  :) Hal had to sit the Circus Train ride out after several warnings and hitting Maddie while waiting in line. She got lots of snuggles with dad and was good to go after her little episode.  Good thing since it was only the 2nd ride of the day! ;)

Hallie was totally freaked out by the giant Mr. Potato Head, Maddie on the otherhand, absolutely LOVED it, she was glued to that spot in line. 

 Since we were there with my sister and family we were able to swap babysitting.  We watched their 2 girls the 1st night and they watched ours the 2nd night.  This was right before we took off, we did the parent swap on Screamin' California so Mike and Shell went 1st, this was Maddie's reaction to them being on the ride! She was so scared for them, it was hilarious!

 And here we are on our 1st trip on the ride, right before we ditched the children and went twice more! :) Sadly I realized this is the most thrilling thing I've done since Micah and hallie were born- I need to get out more!

On our night we babysat, we headed straight back to the hotel.  Shell and Mike decided to take all the kids to the World of Color show- Micah fell asleep while on Mike's shoulders and for the remainder of the show Mike held the girl's like this...

It was such an exhausting but fun trip.  I LOVE Disneyland!!!
