Dear Dad

Dear Dad,

What am I doing? I love daddy, and I love animals and trains and superheros and I have a poster and I love playing outside. And I love playing in the snow and in the dirt too. I like playing at beaches and on the trampoline and that's all. That's what I love to do, that's all that I love to do.  What did you have for breakfast?

Love Micah

Dear Dad

Daddy, it's fun to go to ballet. When we go to ballet tonight, when it's Friday I go to ballet, and when I have a dress and butterfly wings, and when I go to sleep it is fun. You will be far away and when I get to the airport I will give you a big hug.

I had cheerleader pompoms and that's all I want to say. We went to the basketball and when I got in the car when we went home we went tonight. I ate pizza and juice aaaand that's all I want to say. Maddie and Jordan were there.

Love you Hallie.

Mini Adventures

When we were in Virginia, we started a tradition of going on drives every weekend and ever since then we've continued that tradition. This past Sunday I took Micah, Hallie and Maddie for a drive. We ended up at Crow Butte this week. The kids had a great time playing in the sand and searching for treasures. I entertained myself by taking pictures. :)

A few weeks ago, we ended up on the Canyon Road outside of Yakima, we played at a campsite, checked out the river, and went on a short hike. To Micah's delight we even had a train pass us and honk at us.

Micah, Hallie and I drove to Dayton several weeks ago and explored the area some. They really wanted to have a picnic even though it was FA-REEZING! I found a place to pull off and we braved the wind for a few minutes and had some cheese and crackers.  It was a fun day, but we greatly missed Tyson.  We explored the town of Dayton, had cookies at a little bakery and browsed around some cute shops.  It was the first time that all 3 of us legitimately enjoyed browsing together in a store.  It was so fun! After our romp around town, we headed out towards the mountains where we accidentally went mud-bogging which was a blast until I realized how stupid it was for me to be by myself with 2 children in the car.  I eventually made it back down the road safely, but learned my lesson- no more solo back road mud bogging!

Sharing sprinkles... Makes me smile :)
