i have totally been avoiding the blogging world for the last few weeks because i haven't had anything uplifting or positive to say. that is until i glanced at lis'
10 on Tuesday and saw #5 . totally hilarious if you ask me, you'll have to check it out for yourself cause i'm not going to explain it. sorry. i just don't feel like it.
so normally i'm a "see the cup half full type of person," but i just haven't been able to do that lately- i'm in a rut and it's kicking my butt...
anyway if you haven't checked out
#5 , do it now so you may understand why i decided to write this post. it's my life and my journal. it totally helps me reflect and realize life ain't so bad after all. and heck, we all know life isn't perfect all the time right!?!
i know so many of you have your own struggles and go through them so gracefully and honestly most of the time i can too, but like i said i'm just not feeling it lately! tyson has been working LONG hours, my #2 wing man, my mom, has been gone on her cruise, i've felt depressed, lethargic, and ultra-irritable- just ask ty he'll probably give you an earful, he's been such a saint in putting up with my 'tude!
then to top this all off, i left this weekend and seriously within 30 minutes of returning home and unloading the car (by myself because ty is in spokane for awhile) i received a phone call from my parent's neighbor. my dad had been stuck outside for over 5 hours in the heat, which for a person with MS is extremely dangerous. he was incoherent and extremely dehydrated. so i threw everything back in the car, including the babies and rushed to prosser. by the time i got there he was feeling better, but because of the heat pretty much couldn't move on his own. we had a rough night, but made it. in the morning he looked like he was on the upside, that was until the afternoon when he got a fever (104!) and became incoherent again. i called some family friends and they were wonderful to help with the babies and getting my dad to the hospital. i stayed with him until my mom finally got home from her trip at 3:30am. he came home today and is feeling better after being treated for dehydration and a uti.
needless to say, i have had an extremely emotionally and physically draining week, plus operating on a few restless hours of sleep each night. (i'm starting to remember what i felt like 10 months ago!!) the babies (and me!) were so ready to get home! we have a busy few weeks ahead of us and very little time to prepare!
so hopefully the drama is over for me, i could use some good times and maybe a little more sleep to see my glass half full again. wish me luck and hopefully i can get back on track for my "perfect life" :)
i managed to snap a few shots over the weekend so enjoy...
