And since I'm procrastinating cleaning and packing right now, I'm going to get sentimental on ya!  Can I just say how much I'm going to miss this girl!?  I really don't want to talk about it because the tears start flowing every time I do, but seriously she's my go-to girl for everything.  I love her to pieces, she is 100% irreplaceable and I will miss her more than words can say!!!!! I'm sure this won't be the last you hear about La-Wis, but for now I'll focus on the positive... we've still got a week to go out in true Lis and Stacey fashion... it'll be loads of fun that's for sure!

The 6 Month Plan

December 2008- Ty and his sister drove cross-country packing only what we could fit in our Tahoe, while my mom and I flew with the kids a week later.  We lived in Alexandria on a temporary military assignment.

May of 2009- Flew back to Washington to get the rest of our belongings.  Along with 2 of Tyson's brothers, Ira and Aaron, we drove back to DC with our moving truck and the rest of our belongings and moved out of the city down to Calvert County where we stayed in limbo, having to wait until the very last minute every 2 months to find out if they were going to extend his orders or not.

November 2009- Decided to not renew his military orders and began applying for jobs and ended up getting one LAST minute in Arlington.  That was after we packed our necessities into a 10x10 storage shed and drove the rest of our belongings back to WA.

July 2010- here we go again!  Tyson was approached about a job in Washington and after a lot of research and praying, we felt this was the right decision for us.  So we're off!  We are excited to head back to Washington, but we've had fun and enjoyed our time here so we'll be sad to leave- and leaving Lis and Bobby- we won't even go there, I don't want to talk about it! 

But we've hit the 6 month mark so I guess it's time for us to move.  :)  It'll be fun and exciting and hopefully be the last for LONG while!

Lil' Green Bucket

What most people see a just a little green bucket found conveniently in the dollar spot at target, can be used for such a wide variety of things...

And thanks to this mischievous little girl...

We now know it can successfully be used as an outdoor potty.  Twice.

I came outside the other day from getting a drink of water to find her pants and panties down and her haphazardly sitting on the bucket going potty and she attempted the same thing last night.  We're progressing... at least she didn't pee in her pants! :)

June Fun

June Highlights

• After making a pitstop for the night in Prosser, we spent our first week visiting up in Spokane, from which I have no pictures.  Lame I know.  We were able to catch up with a ton of friends up in the area, it was a busy but great time!
• We headed back down to Prosser, where Hallie, Micah, and Tyson all came down with a nasty bug.  We spent the next week and 1/2 at Ty's parents house, most of which was spent trying to get over the bug which put Tyson out on the couch for pretty much the entire time he was here.  We did manage to get out for a date with his bro and wifey AND we were even treated to a night away before Ty had to fly away to Flordia for military training.  We were only expecting me to drive up and drop him off, but after we got up there, Ty decided to call his fam and see if they would be ok with watching them until the morning.  Ira was a champ and agreed to watch them for longer than orginally planned, so we had dinner with my sis and hubby and enjoyed shopping with no kids! Hooray!
• Tyson was offerred a new job at Lewis-McChord Joint Base in Washington, and accepted the same job!  Since then, I have almost every spare moment trying to plan for the cross country move... again- for the 4th time in 2 years, I should be considered an expert by now right!?
• The kids and I were able to be celebrate Aaron's graduation from nursing school.  A few years and kids later they finished! So excited for them!  
• We spent the last week and 1/2 at my parents house hanging out, waiting for the weather to warm up so we could play.  Everyone's saying it, but I have to pipe in- SERIOUSLY what is up with this freakishly cool Eastern WA weather!? Thankfully it's finally warmed up!
• We enjoyed a visit from my Grandma and Aunt for a few days.  It was great to see them!
• Crafting away when I can, 100 coffee cozies sewn, and waiting for buttons.  Headbands made, a dress for Hal, and a few other random things!
• Eli watched the kids for me so I could reunite with my stampin/work buds for a night of fun. 
• Shell watched the kids for the day so I could go explore and look for a place to live. Spent 16 hours on the road, took 3 pages of notes, took LOTS of pictures, saw a ton of houses, and enjoyed a scenic drive over White Pass on a gorgeous day.  So excited to live so close to such a gorgeous area!!!! 

College days and GROSS!

We spent last week up in the Spokane area, so I thought I'd stop by and see if my old boss was still working at the Eastern pool.  Sadly the front receptionist told me that he had just retired the past summer due to his "medical condition" (he has MS).  Bummer! But I decided to take the kids up to the balcony anyway and do some reminiscing.  I spent a good chunk of my college career here and SO much time up in those chairs, thinking about things to think about. Yup I said it, I had to do that often- think about things to think about.  Yea, sad I know, but when you spend a thousand plus hours sitting in a chair watching people swim, you run out of thoughts! The pool still looks the same, with a few updates here and there. 

And speaking of updates, look at the picture below and you can see a fancy red footstool, built with kick boards and duct tape? Yea, I'm pretty sure that thing has been around since I worked there, I think some point in the 5 years I was there we redid them, but GROSS!!!! Really, really, really GROSS!
