We went the other evening for a quick trip to Mt. Rainier. We weren't planning on heading the full 2 hours, but when Micah and Hallie realized we were going to the volcano just like they do on "Little Einsteins" there was no stopping short. We had to go to Paradise so they could get a full view of the volcano. We enjoyed a great short hike and thanks to the great hubster a delicious chicken salad sandwich.

You're lucky you live so close to Mt. Ranier!! We have some cousins that live in Orting...it's like the mountain is in their backyard...crazy! So pretty!!
